Using a D rated browser is slow and compromises your safety, privacy and system integrity on the internet.

Note:
Opera has been upgraded to A. The remaining issues were traced to Java not being upgraded. It is recommended that Java and Adobe Flashplayer be updated with the latest versions. This will insure that operational and cosmetic issues are resolved.** Opera has a voice interface and we found it interesting.

In an earlier post, theOmegan reported a "white screen". Occasionally when we are testing or adding functions to the site you may see a screen that looks "funny". This is because a decision was made to not take the forum off-line for anything but major programming changes. Logging on during a test or installation may give temporary, unpredictable, but not damaging, results.

The Forum is complete with all but some minor cosmetic items. It has been tested on the browsers above. Visitors to the site have been counted in the listed percentages. The grades list each browsers' relative compatibility A = Best, F = Worst (obsolete). NetScape, which used to be a popular browser, was tested, runs OK but does not support some new functions, it is obsolete and you have to have version 6 or higher - we don't recommend it.

We strongly suggest downloading the most recent version of whatever browser you're using, doing so will maintain your security, operate the forum, poker sites and any other internet/browser dependent programs better, quicker, with better security and its free. There is absolutely no upside to running an old version of your browser.

  • There are minor cosmetic differences between these browsers.
Download the most recent version of your browser at:
Click on the program you want to upgrade:

Download Java:
Java

(Java and Java runtime are necessary components of many online games and communications - it is imperative you keep your system on the most recent upgrade. It is surprising how many systems have obsolete components which make them prime targets for highjack attempts. As a security measure, after downloading Java delete obsolete versions of Java. This is not done automatically and old versions on your disk compromises your system.)

* Firefox 3.0.3 is Released. T his forum is optimized for and developed primarily on FireFox, it runs under Windows, MAC and Linux. If you installed the beta version be sure to remove it - click the button above to download the current version.

When you are using Opera and your game time clocks are not visible

click
>Tools
>Preferences
>Advanced
>Blocked Content

Remove the clocks from the list. If they do not appear on this list check your virus programs to insure they are not blocking them.
